Ballet is a renaissance-inspired dance that is the foundation of all modern dance, and is widely popular among all dancers from beginners to experts.  Technique is derived from classical ballet with an emphasis on barre and center floor work. Students will learn terminology and build strength, positioning and flexibility.

Dancing en Pointe is for the Ballet dancer who has reached a level of technical proficiency and strength that the teacher feels is suitable for pointe work.

Creative Movement & Tumbling Tots is for our youngest dancers, exposing them to gentle and fun ways to stretch their bodies, and develop coordination, rhythm and body awareness.   Early movement classes help young dancers physically, mentally, emotionally and socially.

Combo Classes are designed for children under age 7.   These introductory classes focus on teaching kids the basics in jazz, ballet and/or tap, mixing game play and stretching, refining gross motor development.

Hip Hop is an incredibly popular style of dance and our hip hop instructors are very passionate about promoting the art. At the studio we offer classes for those with little to moderate formal hip-hop training, and we also offer more advanced classes. Students will learn basic body awareness, isolation, popping and locking, and more. These skills will be improved upon and practiced in exercise, across the floor, combinations, and choreography.

Jazz is a technical form of dance which mostly has sharp, strong movements such as kicks, jumps and turns and some complicated footwork.  It's also fun and a good way to show your personality.  Lyrical jazz is a mixture of jazz, ballet and contemporary technique and involves more emotional expression.

This is an additional technique class to focus on the basics and fundamentals of jumps and turns. This is also class that will focus on the current trends and tricks.

Lyrical dance is a style of dance created by merging ballet, jazz and contemporary dance techniques. Lyrical dancing is performed to music with lyrics to inspire movements to express strong emotions the choreographer feels from the lyrics in the chosen song.

Modern a free, expressive style of dancing started in the early 20th century as a reaction to classical ballet. In recent years it has included elements not usually associated with dance, such as speech and film.

Tap dancing is a unique dance form in that dancers essentially dance from the shoes, which are equipped with metal plates on the bottom of the shoes that make a variety of rhythms and sounds.
